What is Septic Remediation:
It is when one adds air and/or aerobic bacteria to a septic tank in order to eliminate the excess bio-mat growth (biological growth), which saturates the drain field lines and soil > resulting in drain field failure because the soil can no longer absorb the septic effluent.
 
Signs of Drain Field Failure due to excessive Bio-Mat Growth
Dark, smelly puddles of septic waste black water surfacing over the drain field are a tell-tell sign of bio-mat failure or hydraulic failure (excessive water entering the system).
 
Uses or Purpose:
These systems are often used to reclaim (restore or rejuvenate) existing septic system which are failing due to excessive bio-mat problems resulting in drain field failure.
